About Me

Thanks for stopping by.  I'm a primary trained teacher with 20 years experience.  I work as a relief teacher in a small country town and am studying for a Master of Education (Teacher Librarianship) by distance ed.

I like reading, art/craft, gardening and maths. I've just hit the fabulous 40's and live with my husband and three teenage children in far-western NSW.  Two of our children have Aspergers' Syndrome and as a family we have been maintaining a preservative/colour-free diet (The Failsafe Diet) for four years with fantastic results.

On a professional level, I have a Diploma of Teaching (Primary) and have experience teaching classes K-6, as well as high school science, maths and information literacy.  I also have experience in distance education, special education, learning support, and student welfare.
Questions and comments through my blog or via email are most welcome!
